Delete your WeBabyLog account and data
You can request that we delete your WeBabyLog account and the data associated with it. This page explains how to do that and what we delete.
How to request account and data deletion
Use one of the following ways to request deletion:
- In the WeBabyLog app: Open the app, go to Profile or Settings, and use the option to delete your account or request account deletion (if available in your app version).
- By email: Send an email to sewah2012@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my WeBabyLog account" and include the email address of the account you want deleted.
What we delete
When we process your deletion request, we remove the following:
- Account and profile: Your email address, name, preferred language, measurement system, profile photo, and notification settings (from our users collection).
- Baby and family data: Baby profiles you created, guardian relationships and roles, and any guardian invites linked to your account (babies, babyGuardians, babyGuardianInvites).
- Activity and log data: All activities you created (feeding, sleep, diaper, notes, medicine, bath, temperature, doctor visit, milestone, etc.) and their metadata.
- Growth data: Weight, height, head circumference records (growthRecords).
- Reminders: All reminders you created (reminders collection).
- Device and notifications: Your push notification token (FCM) stored on your user document.
This data is removed from our systems (Firebase Cloud Firestore and related services). We do not keep copies of your or your babies' data after deletion.
What we may keep and retention
We may retain certain data only where required by law (for example, for legal or accounting purposes) for a limited period; after that period it is deleted. We do not use retained data for any other purpose.
How long it takes
We process deletion requests within 30 days of receiving a valid request.
